I recently learned that there have been phishing attempts requesting urgent website updates or payments. They are being sent to my clients in my name. While these messages may look convincing, they are not legitimate and are not from me.I'm sorry this is happening.  Wix developed a tool to help you recognize when emails are actually coming from Web Design by Dena Testa Bray—Wix’s Partner verification tool.  You can enter any email address you aren’t sure about and check whether it’s listed as someone who worked on your website. FYI, you must be logged into your Wix account to verify emails.You can also report abuse here.Please note I will always contact you from this email address, dena@denatestabray.net, and will never ask for sensitive information through unexpected links.   If you’re ever unsure about a message related to your website, please email me, and I’ll be happy to check it for you.  Best,  Dena  ​

 

Message to my clients, sent via email 01.26.2026:Hello Wix Clients:Someone is continuing to send deceptive emails to my clients. I know I alerted you last week, but it is continuing, and people are getting pressured into signing up for services that I have not recommended nor have any part of.As a reminder, I will only send you emails from this address, dena@denatestabray.net. You can verify that it is me by using Wix's Partner Verification Tool. Or, take a look at the name showing in the 'from' column; often it is a misspelling of my name, along with an email address that does not belong to me. In that case, send it directly to spam. You can also report it to Wix at this address: Report Fishing.I have notified Wix of the problem. I am not the only Wix Partner who is experiencing this issue. While I never publish any identifying information about my clients, I have in the past included links to your websites on my Portfolio page.
